Wal-Mart Selling 4GB iPhones at $99 Google Admits to Private API Violation
Dec 05

Apple has just released a list of Top 10 iPhone apps purchased and downloaded throughout 2008. The iTunes Store was just launched in June 2008 and now hosts about 10,000 apps. That’s a major breakthrough. Games made up more than half of the Top 10 list for paid apps. Notable apps that made the list include titles like Crash Bandicoot: Nitro Kart 3D, Super Monkey Ball, Tap Tap Revenge and Google Earth.

Remember that Google Earth was just launched two months ago. That must be a lot of downloads in order to stay in the Top 10 list.

And here’s the entire page of all things 2008 in iTunes Store.
