Gameloft’s impressive title, Hero of Sparta gets released on the iTunes App Store and is going at $9.99 each. Play as King Argos, a Spartan hero who not afraid of defying the gods themselves. Sounds a bit like Kratos, God of War, eh?
Take King Argos’ challenge in this full-3D odyssey. Hero of Sparta is an epic action game that takes the player from the depths of the Underworld all the way to the summit of Olympus. The game promises hours of gaming and visual enjoyment via:
- touch screen controls: move King Argos with the virtual joystick and unleash his wrath using touch screen combinations
- 360 degrees of total freedom: move and fight freely across 3D space via 8 levels of majestic enviroments
- legions of enemies and mythical creatures to challenge, including the Cerberus, the Cyclops and many more worthy foes
- choose from five different weapon upgrades: sword, axe, bow or twin blades to choose from
- survive this mythic adventure and write your own legend
Gameloft is targetting fans of hack ‘n slash with this release. Fans of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and God of War would be thrilled.
As with other recent Gameloft titles, the developer suggests resetting the iPhone or iPod touch device once after the initial installation in order to ensure that the game runs normally.
