iDracula – Undead Awakening just took the #1 spot in the iTunes Store Top Paid Apps list, and the developers deserved it. Released on February 19, the game took to the thrones of this majestic list in no time at all.
Going at a discounted price of $0.99 (usually $2.99), the game promises intense action for those who are not nervous. Featuring smoothly animated graphics and a cool soundtrack to match, the game tasks you as a vampire hunter, whose being hunted by the very creatures that you are supposed to hunt in a mindless mature-themed action game.
Equip yourself with up to six different weapons, including the gun, rifle, crossbow, grenade launcher, machine gun and BFG. A perk system upgrades and add new capabilities to your character, ultimately deciding his fate. Play in either Survival or Rush mode against hordes of Vampires, Werewolves, Witches and ultimately, Dracula himself. Can you stand the night?
An update to the game is currently on the way, which will bring two more new levels, a new game mode, new creatures for you to hunt (or be hunted) as well as a new weapon. Along with the update is a price increase to the regular price of $2.99.
I showed this game to a few fellow colleagues at work and find it hard to get my iPod touch back. You’ll find yourself wanting to improve your scores over and over again. Don’t miss out on your chance to grab this masterpiece of a game which is comparable to the likes found on either a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 title.
