Howdy! Let’s check out what’s in store for us this week over at the iTunes Store.
Carolina Liar headlines this week’s Single of the Week download, with Show Me What I’m Looking For. This same track by L.A.-based rock band was recently featured in an episode of 90210. Carolina Liar is in good hands as the track builds with vigorous guitar, keyboards and sing-along chrouses. Show Me What I’m Looking For makes for a good scene where shy lovers spot one another across the corridor and leap slo-mo into each other’s arms. I couldn’t find any Discovery Download this week, but rather another single in the form of Love Your Way, by Powderfinger. This single was released back in 2004, but is worth checking out. Remember to also check out Powderfinger’s compilation, Fingerprints – The Best of Powderfinger which this track is a part of.
This week’s Cancion de la Semana download features Yomo’s Tu Te las Trae. This cut is from Yomo’s studio debut and is a blistering bit of electro-reggaeton funk. Booming with laser-sharp synths, massive bass kicks and the occasional vocoder dropped in, you’ll be in your robot mode in no time. If you want a tune that guarantees an all-out assault on the dance floor, then check it out. Welcome the new face of reggaeton. Note that the link above points to the clean version of the track. There’s also an alternate version, but it is not being offered for free at the moment. Check out the full album, My Destiny for more reggaeton goodness.
Next up is this week’s free Music Video of the Week download. We have Evidence’s For Whom the Bell Tolls and it feature ft. will.i.am, Phonte and Blu!
