Next up is Buggled, Aspyr’s first app debut for the iPhone. Buggled is a game of multi-touch finger dexterity and it happens to be simple yet entertaining. Your task – follow the on-screen instructions and keep those ladybugs from escaping your fingers.
As you progress thru the levels, Buggled gets more challenging, often asking you to hold on to a few bugs, then release one of them, followed immediately by trapping another one. Bugs that are not trapped often change location, adding even more challenge. This is a game best played while laying the device on the table or any flat surface.
If you find the game too challenging for your ten fingers, then worry not. Bring another friend or two and get them to help. The iPhone’s multi-touch technology is capable of detecting up to 5 fingers at a time – bring four other friends and the game becomes easy-peasy.
Graphics on Buggled looks good, with leaf textures that are very photo-realistic. Sound effects-wise, the game features unique comical effects when the bugs are pressed and released.
