First offer of the day is this week’s free single – No More by Boaz. Boaz, the sharp-dressed MC from Pittsburgh looks set to follow Wiz Khalifa’s big footprints as far as bringing attention to the PA sound. Light Through The Veins by Jon Hopkins is this week’s Discovery Download. Immerse yourself in more than nine minutes of cinematic glory. This track by London native Jon Hopkin’s is an epic instrumental track that may sound familiar to Coldplay fans as it worked into both the intro and outro of the band’s 2008 Viva La Vida album. Missing from last week’s list of freebies, Canción de la Semana returns this week with a free track from Larry Hernandez – El Querendón y Cajetoso. This free track comes from Hernandez’s new album, 16 Narco Corridos, which offers up some of the most heartfelt corridos in recent memory. Hernandez’s friendly, easy-going voice suits his warm style behind the microphone. Laughing it up, making asides and then launching into some eye-watering bits of poetry – Hernandez and his horn-driving band sounds just perfect on El Querendón y Cajetoso. Divinations by Mastodon is this week’s free Music Video of the Week download. Rock fans will definitely love this track together with a video track that is engaging and comes complete with a storyline. Check out the full album, Crack the Skye where this track is featured.
