Chillingo sent us word of the coming contest, so we are sharing it with you here firsthand.
In preparation of the May 22, 2009 launch of Toki Tori on the iPhone as well as the WiiWare version’s one year anniversary, developer Two Tribes and publisher Chillingo are inviting games to show off their creativity via the newly launched Toki Tori Promotion Contest. Entrants will be challenged to think of cool ways to promote the game.
Interested participants of this contest may check out the official rules and submit their entried at the following web site: http://www.tokitori.com/contest. Show off your creativity thru the display of your original promotional plans in action. Some examples include dressing up as Toki Tori, pimping out your MySpace page, creating a YouTube video featuring Toki Tori or even organizing a Toki Tori party and showing off the results. Creativity has no bounds!
The contest begins today and ends on June 26 2009. The production teams at Two Tribes B.V and Chillingo will judge all entries and pick the respective winners. The most creative entry will receive the first price consisting of a 200 dollars/euro worth of iTunes Gift Card or Wii points, a chicken to be adopted in your name and a Toki Tori figurine. The top nine runner up entries will all win a Toki Tori figurine.
