Twitter has been getting a lot of attention lately – with its number of users growing exponentially. I currently tweet on two different accounts, a personal one as well as one dedicated for this site where I use to announce new posts and other topics related to our favorite Apple devices.
I have tried a multitude of different clients, both on the desktop as well as mobile where I eventually stumbled upon TweetStack and liked the idea that I could actually import my ‘stacks’ from the TweetDeck desktop client into the application.
TweetStack is a full featured Twitter client, with the main selling point of being able to manage stacks. If you happened to follow a lot of Twitter users, you’ll start to get the idea of a clutter – lots of tweets, some useful, some utterly rubbish. In TweetStack-speak, stacks refers to groupings that you can create in order to minimize the clutter everytime you check your Twitter feed.
We last took a look at this highly-anticipated title in early May. In between, EA Mobile has released a teaser-app and also some more screenshots as well as (yes) a trailer of the game. Taking notes from the trailer, the release date is set for June 2nd, 2009!
Check out the screenshots here (click for larger version), and also the trailer further below. Enjoy and don’t forget to mark your calendars for June 2nd, 2009!
With all the craze surrounding the latest reboot of the Star Trek franchise, there’s been a number of releases related to the movie, including an official game, which basically consists of you piloting the NCC-1701 USS Enterprise as a fighter craft of sorts – yes, the official game is a an action-adventure shoot ‘em up game.
The VOID makes its attempt in filling up the void (no pun intended) of space-themed games. This is not your typical shoot ‘em up game.
You play the role of a janitor who dreamed of becoming a feared and renowned space pirate. Saving up your slave labor wages, you finally managed enough credits to purchase your own ship. And so begins your adventure into the vast openess of the galaxy.
Good day people! It’s Tuesday again (time flies!) so let’s hit the iTunes Store and see what they have in store for us!
Starting the line-up of freebies this week is Diane Birch’s Rise Up – the free Single of the Week download. Singer cum songwriter/pianist Diane Birch brings some “church” to the bandstand with her soulful music in more ways than one. Rise up begins with an easy-going bluesy piano, warm horns and Birch’s enveloping voice. Also check out the brilliant multi-layered choice which shins both on the choruses and accompanying infectious clarinet solo at the end.
